Take careful daily inventory of our available stock of food, paper goods, and other supplies and communicate any missing or low items.
Assemble packs of food and other supplies, to be sent to food trucks and restaurants, according to order sheets.
Assist in loading packs into food trucks and delivery vehicles.
Carry out regular cleaning tasks and following food safety procedures to ensure our spaces are always clean, safe, organized, and operational.
Perform routine maintenance on our delivery and food truck vehicles, such as visually inspecting vehicle parts for proper functioning, checking oil levels in generator and truck engines, and adding oil if necessary.
The position is based at our commissary at 148 Hampden Street in Boston
We are able to be flexible on number of hours - so if you want 15 hours a week or 40 hours a week, we can work to build a schedule that accommodates that works for you. You must be available weekday afternoons from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Working a shift on Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm is a must. If you’re looking for a full time position, you either need to be willing to work until 11 pm or have a driver’s license.
After a training period of 100 hours, you earn $13.50/hour and receive regular reviews and raises.
