A letter from Pat, our CEO ✉️
We're sad to say goodbye! Our Chestnut Hill Square restaurant will be permanently closing on August 26.
Letter from Pat, CEO of Bon Me
Dear Bon Me fans,
We have made the tough decision to close our Chestnut Hill Square restaurant. Our last day will be Sunday, August 26th. We have enjoyed getting to know our loyal fans in Newton, however, the finances at this restaurant just weren’t making sense.
This location has been tricky for us since the start. It’s farther from our base of operations and it’s harder to find people to join our team since it’s not close to the T. Closing is a difficult decision since so many people at Bon Me have put so much effort into trying to make the restaurant a success. We are also sorry to disappoint the customers who we’ve gotten to know over the last two years.
This decision frees up our team to focus on other exciting challenges coming up. We are opening a booth at Harvard’s new Smith Campus center later this month as well as a restaurant in the Longwood neighborhood this fall.
We have offered all members of our Chestnut Hill Square team equivalent positions at different locations, and we hope that you will visit us at our restaurants + food trucks in Boston and Cambridge.
CEO, Bon Me
