Here are some Bon Me Nutritional Fun Facts!
Which Filling has the least amount of salt?
The Soy and Paprika Tofu wins that one. It also has the least calories. But Spice Rubbed Chicken destroys the carb department with a whopping zero.
What is the healthiest dressing?
Very broad question, so we’ll answer it the best we can. If you’re looking for the least calories, Vietnamese Vinaigrette is for you. Least sugar? Spicy Peanut, Toasted Sesame, and Miso Lime are tied at a gram less than the Vinaigrette.
Rice Bowl or Noodle Salad?
If you're looking for a heartier meal filled with healthy grains and carbs, reach for the brown rice bowl. It's classic flavors are sure to please. Soba noodles, on the other hand, have less calories and more protein than rice and provide a bit of extra flair with their earthy, nutty flavor. You can't go wrong with either of these delicious dishes. Each one provides a little something the other lacks.
White or Brown Rice?
While most people know that brown rice is the healthier alternative to white rice, not very many people know why. Of course, both are filled with carbohydrates that help energize the body and get you through the day, but brown rice has an edge that white rice does not. When brown rice is produced only the outer hull of the rice kernel is removed, keeping the majority of the essential nutrients stored in the grain for consumption. When brown rice is milled and becomes polished into white rice, all of the vitamins, fatty acids, and dietary fibers once contained in the grain disappear. Both are delicious, but one provides more health benefits than the other.
Make me the healthiest entree on the menu!
Easy! Our Salad with Soy and Paprika Tofu with Vietnamese Vinaigrette is only 300 calories, 24 carbs, 11 grams of sugar and packed with 23 grams of protein.
Unfortunately, the Vietnamese Vinaigrette is made with fish sauce, so this dish is not vegetarian. But substituting the Vinaigrette for any of our other 3 vegan dressings just barely bumps the numbers, and stays below 350 calories!
If you’re trying to save the calories for your meal, but still need to wash it all down with something delicious, our Evy Green Tea is both sugar and calorie free, as well as Organic.
*PRO TIP: Ask for half Green Tea, half Spicy Ginger Lemonade or Thai Basil Limeade to cut the sugar and calorie count of your favorite citrus drink in half, but still get some of their refreshing flavor.
